Region’s marketing agencies combine to drive Smith & Nephew Extruded Films into new markets

12th November 2012

This month, two of the region’s top web and marketing agencies, Indicoll and Jenko, have completed an integrated campaign for Smith & Nephew Extruded Films, designed to support the company’s continued growth and expansion into new international markets.

Indicoll and Jenko fought off stiff competition from many of the UK’s leading marketing and web agencies to win the project work, which included print & exhibition design and supply, and an advanced new website at http://global.smith-nephew.com/snef/.

The new technically advanced website features responsive design, so that it can be effectively viewed on any device, and a bespoke online tool to support Smith & Nephew’s global sales force in the field.

John Telford, New Business Manager at Smith & Nephew, said:

We chose local companies over some of the UK’s biggest agencies and it has paid off - we’re really happy with everything that both Indicoll and Jenko have produced. The exhibition, print and web work have all been first class, and are a testament to the quality, creative talent and technical expertise available in the Humber region.

They have developed a fantastic, easy to use website that makes our extensive product range more visible to customers worldwide. In the first two weeks we doubled the hits to the site and people viewing with mobile devices were staying longer and viewing more pages!

Smith & Nephew Extruded Films is one of the world’s leading specialist manufacturers of polyurethane films, polymeric nets, laminated wound pads and adhesive tapes to both medical and industrial sectors.

Jenko is one of Hull’s leading integrated marketing agencies, focusing on design, marketing print and display.

Beverley-based Indicoll specialise in the creation of bespoke, technically advanced websites and web applications for businesses. In addition, the company also provides SEO and Social Media consultancy services based on a deep technical understanding of how the web works.
