Gruelling trip for Julian

20th September 2013

Julian Minshall and his son Matthew saddled up to cycle the Way of the Roses at the beginning of September, pedalling from Morecambe to Bridlington - a trek of 170 miles.

Julian is used to going the distance when it comes to developing new business for Indicoll, but it is fair to say he was dreading the physical test of the three-day cycle ride.

But he has never been one to shirk a challenge, and the evenings of long bike rides after work this summer paid off at the weekend. He is now considering doing a triathlon next year, with his son.

Matthew, 16, suffers from Haemophilia and thought the trip would be an excellent way for him and his father to raise money for the Haemophilia Society. They have raised approximately £500 for the charity.

They were accompanied by Sam Dillon, 13, and his father Paul, as well as a support team of experienced cyclist Simon Cowling and van driver Chris McMillan.
